HOUSE OF CHEFS Reality TV show – CALL FOR ENTRIES

Media Club Productions is currently in pre-production for a brand new reality TV show called HOUSE OF CHEFS.
Aiming at showcasing the flavours of Africa for DStv’s brand new lifestyle channel, HONEY (Channel 173).
8-aspiring chefs will go head-to-head for a cash prize of $5000 as well as an internship under one of Africa’s most famous chefs. House of Chefs wants to explore and celebrate African Cuisine and those who are passionate about making it!
Whether you are South African or have roots deep up in Africa… we want you!

· Send us a 1min video of you explaining who you are, what kind of training you have, why they want to win this competition and favourite cultural inspired dish – please email that to via@mediaclubproductions.co.za
· We also need your current resumé along with your current street address and nationality.
Example: Video attached, Resumé attached (with country you reside in) and copy of Passport.

Production notes
1. Contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 25.
2. Contestants will need to be available for 8 days

The 2021 SystemSpecs Children’s Day Essay Competition (CDEC) is NOW OPEN.

This essay competition is an opportunity for your children/siblings/wards to make you proud and win amazing prizes.

Having gone through the TIPS for entry submission and become familiar with the few entry submission STEPS, you are now ready to enter your children/siblings/wards for the competition.

Annual Children’s Day Essay Competition

In furtherance of our technology capacity development focused CSR, we inaugurated in 2020 the SystemSpecs Annual Essay Competition that presents children between ages 9-16 an opportunity to think of solving specific national problems with technology.

Topic: Building a more Secure Nigeria using Technology

Categories:

  • Junior (age 9-12) – maximum 1,000 words
  • Senior (age 13-16) – maximum 1,500 words
Entry Guidelines
  • Language: English
  • Number of entries per participant: One
  • Submission Portal Opens: 10 AM, April 1, 2021
  • Submission Portal Closes: 6 PM, April 23, 2021
  • Entry Endorsement: Entry must be endorsed by an accredited school official OR Parent OR Legal Guardian.
  • Eligibility: Children in Nigeria who would be 9 years and not older than 16 years by May 26, 2021
  • Winners Announcement: Thursday, May 27, 2021
  • Award Ceremony: Friday, June 4, 2021.
